1. File Format

• Submit Press-Ready PDF.

• All images should be 300 dpi, CMYK.

• Include ⅛” bleeds on all sides.

2. Setting Up the Metallic Ink

Metallic inks must be created as a spot color, not CMYK.

Spot Color Names

Use one of these exact names (case-sensitive):

• “Metallic Gold”

• “Metallic Silver”

Color Type

• Set to Spot Color

• Solid fill only (no gradients)

Swatch Values (for reference only)

These don’t affect output — the name does — but suggested:

• Metallic Gold: C0 M17 Y56 K0

• Metallic Silver: C0 M0 Y0 K40

3. Vector vs Raster

• Metallic ink prints best on vector artwork.

4. File Checklist Before Submitting

✔ Metallic colors are set as spot
✔ All fonts outlined or embedded
✔ All images 300dpi minimum
✔ Bleeds included (if applicable)
